Public Works: Stormwater

In Pacific, we must take extra care not to further pollute the waters of the White River, which has been designated by the Department of Ecology as "measurably polluted."

If you wash your car in your driveway, use lawn care chemicals, allow your car to leak oil, or fail to clean up after your dog, your actions have a lasting impact on the White River as well as other rivers, lakes and streams.

Stormwater Utility Rates
Your monthly charge is based on your number of equivalent residential units (ERU), with each ERU equal to 2,500 square feet of impervious property surface.

For all detached single-family residences and mobile homes (one ERU), the monthly service charge is $10.71.

For all other developed properties, the monthly service charge is $10.71 per month for the first ERU per account plus the number of additional ERUs determined by the Utility to be contained in such parcel pursuant to Section 3 hereof, multiplied by $5.71 for those properties with approved stormwater facilities or $10.71 for those properties without approved facilities.
